Ever wish you had just the right bead or beads for a project? Polymer clay is the ideal medium to produce the ideal color, size and shape. And, it's great fun to play with the clay! You will be introduced to basic bead forming methods and variety of surface techniques. The results will be a great sampler collection of beads that we will assemble into bracelets. If you have a particular project, accessory or fiber with which you would like to coordinate please bring it with you.
Students Will Learn: basic properties of polymer clay how to form round, tube and conical (lentil) beads simple caning marbling a little color theory
Class Prerequisites(Students should know): No experience required
Materials Fee: $8.00 *Material fees are separate from class fees and paid to the instructor the day of the class.
Materials Fee Includes: Polymer clay, elastic cord, and printed instructions
Students Should Bring: pencil/pen and paper. All tools and materials will be supplied.
Teacher Will Supply: Tissue blades, toaster oven, bead racks, thermometer, copper rollers, work surface mat, bead needles, and bead rollers
