Working on a "clipboard loom" with two needles, Perle cotton thread, beads, leather cord and a button, students will learn how to make this popular multi wrap bracelet. Using a technique similar to macrame, this stitch can be used with a veriety of beads once the basics are mastered in this mini workshop
Students Will Learn: how to stitch a Leather and Bead Multi Wrap Fashion Bracelet.
Class Prerequisites(Students should know): how to thread a needle.
Materials Fee: $15.00 *Material fees are separate from class fees and paid to the instructor the day of the class.
Materials Fee Includes: a beading mat, leather cord, beads, perle cotton thread, a pair of twisted wire steel needles, beeswax, a button and 3 pages of illustrated instructions.
Students Should Bring: scissors, magnification and a personal task light, if needed.
Teacher Will Supply: a clipboard, a binder clip and padding for the clips.

Color mixing was never easier or more fascinating. We'll focus on using the "Skinner Blend" method of mixing polymer clay. This clever technique results in a beautiful range of hues which will then be cut and cured. Finally, the shapes will be assembled into a light-weight and lovely necklace using a simple using lacing pattern. This is a great way to practice the "Skinner Blend" and take home a finished piece of jewelry!
Students Will Learn: basic polymer clay properties the Skinner Blend of color mixing basic color theory cutting polymer sheets into washer shapes lacing the pieces together
Class Prerequisites(Students should know): No experience required
Materials Fee: $8.00 *Material fees are separate from class fees and paid to the instructor the day of the class.
Materials Fee Includes: polymer clay, ribbon, printed instructions
Students Should Bring: All tools and materials will be provided
Teacher Will Supply: tissue blades, pasta machines, toaster oven, bead racks, thermometer, rollers, work surface mat, punches and cutters
